WELCOME to St Andrew's Episcopal Church

The Reverend Leslie Burkardt

Welcome

Grace and Peace be with you!  Welcome to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.  We are glad you are visiting us through cyberspace, and I pray that you are able to see something that draws your attention - piques your curiosity enough to want to take the steps to come and worship with us. All are welcome into our community!

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is a community of faith that takes seriously the questions, issues, imagination and truth telling of what it means to live lives as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ in today's world.  We seek to live into our baptismal vow in our parish relationships and to our neighbor. The leadership raises the questions: how are we to live with one another and our neighbor and how to speak the truth and remain in truth and life-giving relationships that embody restoration and healing as daily signs of the resurrection in this world.
Our neighborhood community is very diverse.  We have lower income families to middle class and nationalities from a variety of countries.  Some of our Outreach Ministries to the neighborhood include: ESL classes, Loaves and Fishes and Community Garden.  (More details in the Outreach section.)

This is just a little bit about "who we are".  I hope you will give us an opportuntity to meet you and that you become a part of our story.
Come as you are, you are important to God and you are important to who we are called to be as the parish of St.Andrew's.
